The Life Teen Core Team is a group of young adults (at least one full year out of high school) in the parish who have taken on the task of evangelizing our high school youth through creating welcoming environments, forming intentional relationships with high school teens, and journeying with them in their relationship with Christ.
Life Teen Core Responsibilities
- Continually grow in their own relationship with God and maintain a daily prayer life
- Provide a lived witness of a Christian lifestyle in and outside of Life Teen events
- Meet and build relationships with teens attending Life Teen
- Facilitate and participate in activities and games
- Co-lead small group discussions based on the night's theme w/ an upperclassmen teen leader
- Lead small group prayer
- Help clean up and attend our post Life Teen debrief and prayer meeting (6:30-7pm)
- Provide a mentoring relationship to assigned upperclassmen co-leader
- Facilitate a small group at our August Confirmation Retreat and 3 Confirmation Nights (taking the place of Life Teen on 3 Sundays throughout the year)
- Prepare for Sunday night events by reading and following up on Life Teen emails and communications
- Maintain an openness to other opportunities as presented (i.e. giving testimony or messages, helping staff LT retreats and trips, attending teen sporting and performance events, etc.)
Life Teen Core Time Commitments
Weekly attendance at Life Teen, 5-7pm on most Sundays September - May (Click here for dates)
Confirmation Retreat (Prefered Attendance for 10th Grade Small Group Leaders)
Life Teen Core / CTKYC Core Social Events (Optional)

After your application is processed, you will be contacted by Colleen to set up an interview.
STEP 3
Upon acceptance, you will need to complete the Archdiocesan Volunteer Application and attend a Virtus Safe Environment Training session.
